KAWAII GIRLFRIENDO CHAN. aka "his better half", "his rock", and "way better at things than him and he totally knows it".

ruka's been there for him since way before they were ever actually a thing, and while he doesn't always make it incredibly obvious, he actually values that highly! it tells him that they're not just ~*~matesprits~*~ but also friends. she puts up with more bullshit than he knows she ought to, and he knows he can trust her to shoulder that burden! he doesn't at all realize the selfishness inherent in that. she's smart and reasonable and clever in all the ways he usually isn't, and he knows if he fucks up on something, she's got his back.

BUT MORE THAN THAT she accepts him the way he is! this is technically not a good thing, since narcissistic classist murderer and all that, but nobody ever said their relationship wasn't kind of terrible. she's one of the foremost figures he turns to when he's in any kind of distress or in trouble, and he would totally fuck somebody up if they ever tried harming her. she's also one of the main things that keeps him from doing EVEN MORE TERRIBLE THINGS THAN HE ALREADY DOES. and he puts insane amounts of his self worth into their relationship.
