one of jenny's favorite things about karkat is that he sort of just takes all of her rough humor and verbal abuse in stride-- more than that, he gives it back to her easily, and that fosters a sort of adolescent respect underneath her growing fondness for him. he has a lot of the elements that draw her in someone else her age-- like the conflicted, self-loathing, struggling, emotionally complicated type-- and he really doesn't take much of her shit, which she appreciates as the sort of person that likes to push at people. IT ALSO HELPS THAT HE'S SORT OF ADORABLE.
