NEDWARD
At the start, she mostly just considered him a source of pie and entertainment, but eventually found herself being drawn to his personality and the things that interested him. Obviously, it also helped that he had a super-adorable dog. She very clearly used to enjoy prodding him and teasing him more than she does now, but she still tries to challenge his comfort levels because without affection and human contact, what's the point of it all?
Perhaps at one point she found him physically attractive, but she basically treats him as a friendzoned now. She doesn't really believe in the friendzone, but she also isn't necessarily comfortable referring to him as a sibling -- although in her mind he is part of her haphazard City-family. He is very probably her best bro (sorry, Mitch?) and someone she believes she can always count on, even if it's not necessarily something he would like to see/hear/do regarding her. She won't ask about it in a way that isn't a joke, but she definitely believes he feels similarly.
