for Monica: has she ever identified personally with a song? Modern or otherwise? And if so, why?

In my mind, she listens to a lot of Nina Simone! I don't really see her keeping up with modern music or trends, just because she wouldn't bother. But yeah, Nina Simone. Ne Me Quitte Pas is actually a song I identify with her a lot (and I imagine her enjoying), because it's tragically romantic in a way I think she'd appreciate though she'd ultimately reject the lyrics' meaning. Plus I think she'd enjoy a powerful and culturally imposing woman like Ms. Simone and want to identify with her!!

I imagine her really constructing her image as a ~Widow~ after her divorce, and embracing the tragedy of the codename even though it didn't technically fit her. So I see her music choices as being similarly incongruous--darkly romantic in a way she doesn't want to feel, but does.

She likes fancy, expensive places that aren't too over the top! So very 5th Avenue, though she rarely buys things that stand out. She just likes nicely-tailored slacks all in black, alright!!

What are two of Clint's favored specialty arrows, what are two of Monica's favorite movies, and how is Bones dealing with (or going to deal with) 21st century medical practices?

Of his standard quiver, Clint's favorite are probably the bola arrow and the boomerang arrow. Bola (and the electric one) is good for incapacitating people without really hurting them, and also no one ever sees it coming. And the boomerang one is just fun. He also uses the net arrow a lot a lot. And basically his favorite thing to do is use an arrow in a weird way, or not as someone would expect--like once he used a net, knowing his enemy would cut through it, but then followed it up with a shock arrow and so they were sunk. :')

Monica is a Lucy Liu stan and no one can convince me otherwise. But seriously, she probably really likes the Chinese film Yellow Earth a lot, and Kill Bill because violence and ladies inflicting violence, yes please. Also First Wives' Club because "You Don't Own Me" is totally her theme song.

TOS Bones broke down in tears at the thought of the 20th century's medicine, but I imagine nuBones would hold it together a bit better. And by that I mean he's going to be really mortified but will set about trying to make things better. I think, at core, medicine is medicine and just being there to take care of people is what he always aims to do! So while he may not have access to the same medicines and technology as he would have, he's still going to try and use his know-how to help people.

what is everyones morning routine like?

clint gets up close to dawn, because he is a freak of nature. he heads out to the range after washing his face/brushing his teeth, and shoots for a good two and half, three hours. by the time most normal people are awake, he's back at the mansion, showered, brewing coffee and making omelets. he usually eats breakfast with bobbi before they each get on with their days.

monica is an early riser, too. she's one of those people who never hangs around in her pjs, and always gets washed and dressed immediately. she probably gets an hour of work done before she even considers eating breakfast. she'll jog in central park every other morning, unless she's deep into a project. often, she's out until the wee hours of the morning, so on days like those she'll sleep until the sun is high and function as a nocturnal. coffee is a big part of whenever she wakes up.

bones is a grumpy and habitual riser. depending on when he's off-shift, he probably grabs sleep in 4 hour snatches and then grumbles at whoever's around about it even though his pain is self-inflicted. when he's on-duty, the first thing he does is probably check on his patients. he's probably one of those people who eats on the job, remembering to eat only because oh look a nurse is shoving a banana at him and he'd better eat it!! he probably also always rolls over in his sleep and onto the floor and that's how he wakes up every morning, i am convinced.
