His vocab is pretty good, he knows a bit of latin and some occult phrases, as well as the names of numerous different types of monsters, demons, and ghosts.

Eddie doesn't need help (I hope Dean can stand egotism)... But he does need someone to converse with on the things you just mentioned, which he also likes.
