He has a couple, though it's not readily apparent because I don't post him enough he's secretive, etc.

1. HE WANTS TIM AS HIS APPRENTICE (b/c he is obsessed, go him).
2. Establishing a powerbase through networking, nefarious dealings, and pimping his inventions (which is a source of revenue for him).
3. BREAKING UP THE BATFAM and in general causing strife and pain for them and other heroes, but mostly them.
4. Probably taking over at some point, but that's a loooooooooong, long, long, LONG ways off.
