OKAY SO. STORY TIME.

Once upon a time, while the Justice League consisted of Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Batman, J'onn J'onzz, Maxwell Lord, Fire, Ice, Guy Gardner, sometimes Miracle Man and Big Barda, etc...

Booster and Beetle decided it was a BRILLIANT IDEA to take money out of the League's account so they could buy cheap land on a tropical island somewhere so they could set up a JL-based casino. What they didn't expect was that a couple of guys would be Really Damned Good at the casino and run them bankrupt. Max also found out what they did, flipped his shit, went after Ted and Booster.

IT ALSO TURNED OUT the island was alive and decided to start floating around on its own because it woke up due to Ted and Booster. Basically the whole thing was ridiculous and it pissed off Aquaman. Not that it's hard to piss off Aquaman.

I would imagine a return of Kooeykooeykooey would be the island being like "O HAY TED. S'UP. I REMEMBER YOU. HI HI HI." and nearly rams into the US of A or something equally ridiculous. I like ridiculous. Ridiculous is funny.
