Barney DOES need a lawyer friend, and Phoenix has humored him enough so far that he's probably on his awesome list of people to bother, so... YES. I LIKE THIS.

Although, out of curiosity, what would it take for Phoenix to punch him?

Not sure then on the third one since Phoenix is hard to piss off (I've only known one person to do so in canon), but at the very least, Phoenix does like him, in that "You're a little annoying" sort of way. XD
