I HOPED. But I wasn't holding my breath, because it's Marvel and Marvel never really plays up gay male relationships, even though this one's been just on the precipice of canon for oh, a decade? Longer than that.

This one's been hinted at since... 1995-ish, back in the first run of X-Force. So it's awesome to see it finally happen.

PAD says he'll be keeping Shatterstar in for at least five issues, more if it's well-responded to. Plus on future episode descriptions it sort of sounds like Ric and Star may be going on a weird sort of date at some point.

So YES. Actually DEVELOPED.
