... But I wanted to see Spidey singing.

So! As some of you probably already know, Marvel has released some cool clips regarding the Spider-Man musical. Right now it's just some interview stuff with Bono, the Edge, and Julie Taymor, but yeah. I'm psyched.

It's all here. I'm a bit disappointed that only Peter Parker will sing. I wanted a big singing, dancing, epic battle with the Goblin that could only end in an epic kick line. Oh, well.

Oh, no no... It's just... Only Peter Parker will sing, not Spidey. They say it's because Spider-Man is a more 'physical character', but I think it's got a whole lot more to do with the physical limitations of the mask.

Green Goblin better sing, dammit.

Not to mention extremely awkward? Like every other character just sort of staring while Peter does a jig around the stage? Yeah. Awkward.

For some reason, I'm expecting Norman to burst out into It's Not Easy Being Green. Only, like, the big band version. I have problems.

Tickets are on sale in September, I think. I keep seeing posters for it, too. Makes me kind of giggle and skip around.

But yeah, it'll either be incredibly awesome or unspeakably horrible. There is no happy medium in this kind of situation.
