Guys. GUYS! There's an awesome documentary on the history of comic books on the History Channel right now. And I'm watching it.

I can't believe what this game has done to me. I'm learning about comics. I'm watching X-Men Evolution and Gargoyles (again...god it's been years). I wish I had a next-gen console so I could get Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I even understood exactly what Michael was talking about in season 2 of Queer as Folk when he was discussing Rictor/Shatterstar and Northstar with Ben!!

You guys are such a bad influence. I love you all. I'm never leaving this game. If I ever even think about it, hold me to this promise!

Man, when I first saw that QAF episode I got so tripped out. I was just 'WHOA WHAT THE HELL MY SLASH IS ON QUEER AS FOLK'. I loved that show like double after that. 8(

I know, it was hilarious. I watched it long ago and it didn't mean anything to me, but we just rewatched the whole series and I just about fell out of my chair. I KNEW WHAT IT MEANT! And Michael was so right, too.

I loved that they had a lot of actual canon references in that show whenever Mikey talked big name comics. It was kind of cool!

I know, it wasn't like they just tossed random "Supermans" and "Batmans" here and there for the lulz. About the ONLY point of inaccuracy was having Michael and Brian go to Philly ComicCon after 6 pm. Dude, everybody knows the dealer's room closes at 6!

jfkdgal I was thinking something similar yesterday when I sat and watched a two-hour comics documentary on Bravo that was made in the 80's.
