The driver simply laughs again and tips his head into the fading sun. Watching other cars slowly pass themas they drive.

"You think so highly of him. I'm terribly sorry you two had to be separated, love. Sometimes those things happen for the better, though."

Off in the distance, the city rises into view.

"You know, it's like the song. You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need!" He pauses thoughtfully, "I don't remember the rest of the song but I suppose that's the important line."

The driver has known for some time now.
