For some, the compulsion may even be (horrifyingly and) completely irresistible, against their much better judgment.

Fire off a hit rock solo or sing a sweet duet! Round up your best buddies and perform a barbershop quartet! Hell, actually gather an ensemble and pull off an honest-to-god bit of Broadway! Whatever floats your boat, tickles your pickle, or generally otherwise suggestively verbs your rhymed noun! Do it once, do it twice, do it 'til the cows come home, and then do it 'til they leave again.
