He thinks she's really nice! Mary's the one who pretty much helped him get into the Xavier Institute, so he appreciates that a ton. I'm guessing they sort of haven't talked to each other besides the occasional 'hi how are you' whenever they cross paths in the hallways, but he wouldn't mind getting to know her better. At all.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Mark's grown more comfortable with being around her and the other runaway kids. He owes her a ton since 'WOOPS SAVED YOUR LIFE AND GAVE YOU SHELTER', but he's glad that she's not... making him feel like he owes her for that or what happened with the previous Mark. There's still a hint of awkwardness on his part, mostly because he doesn't know quite how to repay her, but also because they come from such different backgrounds sob.
