X-23 likes that she met Jessica in person first, because it means that there was none of the network-related baggage or preconceptions to deal with. She's an interesting person to observe, and X-23 probably needs an adult around who's going to talk and talk and not be too weirded out when she doesn't reply. Even if she isn't good at it, she does like being around people, and Jessica is someone she'd keep an eye out for.
