In four words: WOW THIS IS AWKWARD.

But, um. Sooraya's used to "her" Laura being extremely social-skills deprived and linefacey in the first place, and she's often terribly awkward herself, so she's trying not to hold it against her, but since the last thing she was doing before getting zapped into the City was lying around on the floor with Cessily and Laura, she has some serious dissonance going on. A small part of her wishes that Laura as she knew her was here instead, but she hushes that out because that would be selfish, and mostly she's just concerned about X. She's never seen the Facility directly, obviously, but she's seen how Laura... you know, acts on a daily basis, and what Cessily was like after they got their claws into her, so she has some idea of what a warped place it is. She does care about Laura a lot, and knowing that X-23 is EVEN MORE MESSED IN THE HEAD than her roomie means that she's just going to... awkwardly try to reach out to her and try to be the best friend she can be. Basically, she's going to keep an eye out for her! Not in the GO TO SOCIAL GATHERINGS GODDAMNIT sense because the reason Scott assigned Laura as her roommate was because... they're both so awkward lol, but try to talk to her about her ~feelings~ and maybe let her hold her chinchilla if she comes over.
