Also, I'm not sure what what happened with Megan has to do with you and me. Other than the fact that you kind of went MIA while I was recovering.

What she said, Katherine. Also, I assumed your friends would want to come up and see you - it would've been far less stressful if I wasn't around for that.

You want people to trust you and for you to trust people, right? Well it's kind of a two way street. You forget about personal grudges for a few seconds when a friend needs you.

I'm not a fool.

I have nothing against them, however empathy is a tricky thing that allows me to know precisely how they feel about me. It would have simply been uncomfortable for everyone.

I visited you, and made sure you went to the establishment with the best quality of care, over the others. After that, you were in good hands.

My friends respect me enough to let me be with whoever I want to be with. They would have respected if you wanted to see me. Maybe they wouldn't have liked it, but who cares? You left because it was uncomfortable for you. It wasn't for my benefit.

I appreciate everything you did for me-- don't get me wrong, it saved my life-- and I really don't plan on holding a grudge over all the stuff Megan said because she was crazy, obviously. Still. Think about what you said about me someday turning my back on you and what exactly went down.

It was for their benefit, not yours, or mine. I know that Dazzler in particular has a difficult time with me, and I don't want to trigger any bad memories for her. It's why I purposely stay away from her - it's the only thing I can think to do. I was upset about having to do it, as I wanted to stay, but I knew it was for the best.
That's why.
