Talking to Tommy was kind of an impulse thing at first, because, hey, it's Delirium. She talks to people when she finds something interesting. And the Giant Hello Kitty was really really interesting. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she knows that most of the time he's probably just humoring her, but it takes a long time to get to the back of Delirium's mind so the thought never surfaces. It helps that his girlfriend is Pie Girl.

And the Hello Kitty lives quite happily in the string and newspaper clipping filled apartment of one Johnny Truant with the doll that the Joker once gave her.
