Soundwave respects the Major a LOOOOT and undoubtedly more than he respects Starscream. Most of it has to do with the fact that the Major fulfills Soundwave's bloodlust, and Soundwave definitely wishes he could be more violent than he currently is. However, his ~~programming~~ loyalty to the Decepticons prevents him from ditching them and turning to join the Major for good -- but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be interested in silently assisting him.

Soundwave's feelings are pretty mixed up concerning Lyra. Mostly, he's looking to fill the void concerning his Cassetticons, as per his desires. However, he is uncertain if he genuinely cares about Lyra or not -- if he can, because their lifestyle choices are completely different.

XD Oh boy. Lyra's feelings are sort of mixed, mostly because of that whole brainwashing thing, although she knows she'd probably have done something equally stupid if she'd been more affected by desire. But at the same time, Soundwave is someone she wants to impress, in her own way.

Some mild guilt. Soundwave truly enjoys his presence and going out to spend time with Alastair, but there's also the issue that Soundwave has messed up feelings all over the place. At any rate, he likes and respects Alastair and genuinely considers him a good ally.

Aww. Those messed up feelings make you interesting though, Soundwave.

Well. Interesting to watch. Heaven forbid anything happen because whoa suddenly it's A Single Potato up in here. :D

Rude, intrusive and cold. Liadrin doesn't think very highly of him at all thus far, but this is probably only because she feels so close to Thundercracker.

Thinks Liadrin is a fool and emotional and nosy. However, he does not feel threatened by her presence... for now.

OH GOD. THE AWKWARD.

Although the beginning has been shaky, Soundwave's pretty much always respected Shockwave for his intelligence and efficiency. In his opinion, Shockwave is irreplaceable in the Decepticon ranks and values his presence as a soldier and a scientist both. HOWEVER, over the course time, he's become to really desire Shockwave's company more and more, obviously. He doesn't want to observe his own feelings in too much detail, but at the same time he wants to spend more time with Shockwave and is gradually becoming obsessed with him, mostly in thoughts such as "I really really REALLY need to keep him safe" and "I don't like him spending time with other people".

Mostly, it has to do with Soundwave's very, very quiet fear of being alone (as he's spent many of his years in the company of others; ironically, he's not social, and yet he does not want to be alone because he is not used to it); shortly after Rumble's disappearance, Soundwave's pretty much admitted to himself that he's attached to Shockwave because he really can't bear the idea of being alone, and yet Shockwave is a really bad choice because of that logic thing. BUT HE CAN'T ARGUE IT MUCH because Soundwave has his own "programming" that he follows and fears going out of routine from (his loyalty).

...Long ramble short, he really likes Shockwave's company, is afraid to lose him, and would probably lose his marbles if something bad happened to Shockwave.

I don't like him spending time with other people.
Ssssoooooooooo what does he do when shocky's off manipulating people and spending tons of time with whomever?

yes. very bad choice. pick the one that is logic obsessed and actually likes being alone because it's quieter and gives him more thinking time.

... pretty much shocky should never get seriously injured, die, or be ported out and come back canon updated and horribly broken?

also ahaha shaky beginning. first they were like "let's wait until we get powers so we can overthrow starscream" and then they were like "i don't trust you. you're messing things up idiot. you're still cool, bro, but you're getting in the way or could possibly get in the way. plotting against you maybe. just in case" and then they were all "let's make out for knowledge and because i want to" and finally they were all "awkwaaaaaard"

he sorrrrt of considers Blitzwing a threat to keeping Shockwave's attention. Because Soundwave is kind of the jealous type when it comes to these kinds of emotions.

ffflmao shaky beginning indeed. soundwave got his suit to be protected against radiation in case he ever needed to kill shockwave, and now he doesn't think he could ever do that HURRR WAY TO GO SOUNDWAVE.

if only he would learn to ask. most of the people shocky's manipulating he wouldn't care if sounds wants to hang around for. at least stalking is not required when in alaska, since he can't really go far

i remember that well. if shocky had ever found that out. he would silently fume. and be radioactive for a few days so no one bothers him

soundwave is not good at asking for things. usually just kind of takes.

SO VERY. he's never really needed to worry about his cassetticons before, so having an attachment to someone else -- especially with someone who claims to have little to no emotion -- makes him paranoid and obsessed.

MAYBE he'll tell shock one day. maybe.

Horridly mixed feelings. On one hand, Trowa completely deceived Soundwave and the other Decepticons; loyalty says that Soundwave should either turn him in to Starscream, or destroy Trowa. However... Trowa has given him some things that cannot be replaced, and Soundwave does not wish to harm him at this time.

The whole loyalty thing is messing him up a lot, and Soundwave has no desire to leave the Decepticons -- yet, he knows he's betraying them by keeping Trowa's secret. It's really paining him and he isn't sure what to do about it.

Trowa's quite aware of the spot between Rock A and Hard Place B that Soundwave's been put in; he gets in a hell of a lot of arguments with Quatre over what he's doing and how badly it might end.

And if it does, and he's killed? He won't be upset with Soundwave.

He's a weird kid.
