Alastair would like to think that they're friends, even if Soundwave is so robot-like sometimes and probably is hiding a kill-all-humans philosophy. I have no idea how they mesh, they just seem to.

...any thoughts of continuing to see Soundwave in a social fashion are purely shallow and based on the fact that he's good-looking and has good taste in music.
