He NEVER thought that Hank was good enough for Jan, and that's not only because he, uh, hates Hank's preppy football quarterback good looks, success, and alpha male mentality. Jan is entirely to smart to be tied down to a jackass like him, but she is just about as bankrupt on self-esteem as he is. She stayed with Hank for the same reasons that he stayed with Betty, so he's always seen her as kind of a kindred spirit. Bruce has enjoyed working with her, since they do so SO WELL and he will go to bat for her honor in a heartbeat.

He's been oblivious to the fact that she's messed around with that guy that he ate that one time.

Also, she's genuinely a beautiful woman, so of course he's attracted to her. Hulk ranks her number three in the harem
