It took me a bit to get a hang of it, I admit. *is slow*

Alastair sees Saitou as...erm, sort of like Raphael was to him, actually. Somewhere between an elder brother and just the elder, stabilizing influence in the household. The guy who'll make the adolescent jerkwads pick up their socks and grump at them but still protect them when he needs to.

Although he hates the smoking. :D But he's often vaguely afraid of Saitou and won't demand that he not smoke in the common areas.
