Canon
Favorite quote/exchange: When he was good: "All this fighting is finally getting to you. Do not worry, I will not divulge your little secret--lest the others think you're mad. Get some rest. It'll do you good."

When he was freshly ex-evil and therefore still kind of bad:
"The blood of innocents was once used to sate the thirst of the blade. Alas, such options are no longer available to me."

When he was evil:
"Your High Inquisitor is nothing more than a pile of meat, Crusaders! There are none beyond the grasp of the Scourge!"

Favorite quote/exchange about the character: The two instances of guy-love with him and Thassarian:

[talking to the player after you rescue Koltira from the Crusade]
"Did Koltira make it out?

I'm certain he did. Those walls can't hold him."

[talking to another death knight about why Thass ordered the rescue]
Orbaz Bloodbane says: Why do you care, Thassarian?
Orbaz Bloodbane says: His weakness led to his capture.
Orbaz Bloodbane says: Only the strong should survive. Not to mention...
Thassarian says: What, Orbaz? That he's a blood elf?
Thassarian says: In life we were hated enemies - this is true...
Thassarian says: But in death... We are the children of the damned. The bastard sons and daughters of the Scourge.
Thassarian says: In death we are brothers.
Orbaz Bloodbane says: To hell with you, Thassarian.

Nevermind that other canon contradicts this exchange (Koltira was not a blood elf) but W/E I still thought it was gay sweet.

Quote that has been insightful:
Talking about what to do after he's unbound:

"I have no answers for you, my friend. I have no answers for myself. Where do I go now? Do I return to my people, and fight for the Horde? ... Do I follow you, and join the Alliance? What life do I have left to lead?"

Favorite quote: Umm, I don't know, I'm lame ;; AH WELL THERE IS ONE THING. In his most recent network post, the last line is actually a quote from one of my favorite short stories. It's called 'Fever' and it's about The American Plague--the outbreaks of yellow fever that killed literally thousands of Americans in the late seventeenth century. The worst outbreaks were in Philadelphia and along the Mississippi River Valley (20,000 deaths for the latter area alone). To me, the line is a striking meditation on the omnipresent nature of death and its relationship with the living.
Favorite quote about the character: Why would anyone talk about this hideous man
