Yeah Robin's is pretty sad, too. I mean, honestly, all of them except Luffy has had really sad ones. Zoro sees his rival girlfriend die, Nami's mom is killed by pirates and she's forced to work for them to keep her village safe, Usopp's father is a deadbeat that never checks in on them and his mother dies leaving him all alone for years, Chopper accidentally poisons his beloved mentor, Robin's home is completely destroyed her giant friend killed and she has to be on the run from the government since she was 8, Franky's mentor is killed by the government then he tries to stupidly stop a train with his body and has to rebuild is own front half.............

There will most likely be a tenth crew member, because Luffy has always said from the start he wanted ten crew members! Luffy never gives up. It's just all a question of whoooooooooooo. I keep hoping for a tomboy kinda gal that can kick ass, but, alas, One Piece isn't really THAT progressive in women's rights in manga, either....
