Cousin: the most precious manga about a not skinny (but she isn't really chubby in my opinion) girl who falls in love with this divorcée. it's so cute gdi.

Fujoshi Kanojo: a guy, poor fool, who falls in love and dates a yaoi-fangirl otaku thing. it's pretty hilarious.

Kimi wa Pet: BEST ROMANCE EVRHFNZkjnsjdanms. A woman who finds this younger and shorter guy in a box, takes him into her apt and somewhere along the way he becomes her 'pet' (not sexual). It's amazing okay.

Honey and Clover (anime): follows art students and their lives. SO GOOD.

Lovely Complex: a tall girl and a short boy who were sorta made for each other.

Oresama Teacher: A delinquient girl who got kicked out of her school transfers to another and with the desire to change. it's actually ridiculously funny.

dorohedoro is heavily character driven, and spends an equal amount of time on each faction of characters

there's really no 'good' or 'bad', since they're all killers

and they're all killers who are secretly full of LOVE and WARMTH and HILARITY, as dorohedoro also balances itself out between HOLY SHIT THAT GUY'S HEAD JUST GOT PUNCHED OFF and OMG OMG OMG THOSE TWO ARE SO CUTE

it really is an amazing fusion of action, comedy, and romance

like fist of the north star combined with a really good shojo

it's my favorite ongoing series

also as a note in its favor:

you know action manga where there's always the healer girl and she hangs back and cries about her friends and fixes them after the fight

well, dorohedoro has a healer girl

her name is noi
