kurozuka is pretty weird and time-travel-y and confusing-ish idk i dropped it
Mouryo no Hako is about a serial killer who keeps chopping off body parts and there's this weird creepy-ish girl and idek but it has a lot of tl;dr in it.
kaiba's very odd. it looks really kid-like yet someone dies of getting oversexed in the second episode
movie-wise there's Perfect Blue which is a Satoshi Kon
fuck anything Satoshi Kon touches is twisted
Hell Girl/Jigoku Shoujo is interesting as well and uhhhhhhhhhhhh

idk manga-wise i've been out of a manga kick for awhile

LMFAO JIGOKU SHOUJO i played from it so i'm allowed to make fun of it (actually anyone is allowed to make fun of it because it's crap)

and i love-love-loved the first episode of mouryou no hako and the rest was aight but it set my expectations... for schoolgirls in horrifying codependent love dancing in the moonlight... and then there was nothing but dismemberment :(

I heard about that and had such a "FUCK YEAAAAAH" moment despite never having watched the anime. I just read the manga, which was very enjoyable.
