[So Jessica is kind of standing there in this horrible dress, alone, waiting for Mitch to get drinks, and wondering when and how her life turned into a John Hughes movie. It must be revenge for the pink hair, she decides. That has to be it.]

[ He kind of walk/jogs back over with two cups. She does look really awkward, so he doesn't say anything, and just hands her one of the glasses. ]

There we go, ready to get sauced at Prom?

[ Well, Mitch, you look really super-awkward too. Jessica takes one of the cups and pours a generous portion of the scotch into it, then hands the flask over to him. ]

I've been waiting all my life.

[ That's because he likes sneaking out of functions to go have cigarettes and dodge the press! He takes the flask and pours out a good bit, and hands it back over. ]
