♥: Comment with your character name
♥: Reply to said character name with a letter addressed to the character-- can be anon or not. Love letter, lust letter, bromance letter, SEKRIT CREEPY CRUSH LETTER, IC gripes (DEAR TONY, I HATE YOU. YOU'RE ON MY LIST. XOXOX, NORMAN) reminder to your girlfriend to pick her underwear off of your ceiling fan-- it's all good AS LONG AS IT'S NOT TOO MEAN (meaning, KEEP IT IC AND NOT OOC STUFF, 'KAY?). [ It takes him about a week to give up on the cell phone thing. He wonders if somewhere -- maybe Tony Stark's rolodex -- there's a list of every meta's contact info. Kind of like a yellowpages, only for superheroes. Knowing the Runners, they probably wouldn't be listed anyway, so he gives up on that idea and starts keeping a diary instead.

There is, of course, a bit of a grace period when Teddy has some difficulty getting over how undeniably gay this is. He only writes in the little notebook late at night after he's texted Billy to tell him he's gone to bed. Eventually, it becomes easier. Notes, in the beginning, then proper letters.

All written to Nico. About nothing and about everything, all at the same time.

[ time between the flow of the City and the time back home are different. The City rolls by at a different speed, plodding onwards as it pulls people in a stop-and-go kind of motion. When the City let Nico go in May of its time, she went back and lived through a jumble of months in her original universe's time.

Something nagged at her the whole time, like an item on a grocery list that she'd misplaced or a long-gone school assignment she hadn't filled all the bubbles in for. It takes her a long time and some carefully worded spells before she gets it and small trickles of memories filter in. They're warm around the edges, fond, even though she's not sure she should remember the big blond guy in them as well as she feels that she does.

One incantation later and she has his address, but not his name. Magic works funny that way. So when she sends the postcard (http://images.travelpod.com/users/benleah/1.1208153640.la-brea-tar-pitsx-the-mammoth-is-not-real.jpg) with no name or return address

Hey,

Don't know if you remember me. I don't know if I remember how I remember you, but I do (I think).

We should meet. If you do remember me and think I'm not some kind of creepy stalker (which I could legitimately be at this point).
