KARRA told me about it!
[ oocly; iirc karra said that dekker and glau were told to play it as if there had never been any programming involved, either with her choice to stay with john in the future OR with the glitch after the carbomb. she has the dvd's and I don't :{
which makes a sort of sense, because for all the ability to reprogram skynet chips she NEVER SUGGESTS THEY DO THIS with the terminators they encounter through the course of the series in the present. ]

[ *sighs* I tend not to listen to commentary because it bugs the crap out of me, but for things like this I usually make the exception.
I always assumed that reprogramming wasn't an option because while the knowledge might be there, the tech wouldn't be sophisticated enough yet. Like when they were looking at Vic's memories in season 1. But that's an interesting way to look at it, if it is true.]

[ *hugs* I just wish I had the DVDs meself but broke grocery store cashier is broke.
also according to karra: if you want, tell her, the commentary is really fast and kind of boring other than random things like that. Other than random bits of trivia info, it's mostly them lolling a lot at Shirley Manson XD ]

[I think the eps are still on Hulu - that's how I saw most of the second season.
Tell Karra THANKS!]

Did Skynet make you too smart? Is that what happened? It made you smart enough to question?

The machine that protects the core of Skynet's AI has never been allowed to develop intelligence. It is afraid of the machines it builds thinking for themselves.

Frankly, I think that payback would be about fair.

Skynet murders. It learned that from humans. You're no better or worse.

Skynet needs humanity. It just hates them.
