What're You Listening To?

Hey CnC. I'm just wondering what music/album/song you're listening to at the moment. Right now, I'm listening to a cover of Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf", which I'm pretty sure is the only song anyone remembers by Duran Duran.

Well, before my internet was herp and froze for ten minutes before I could reply to this, I had Flagpole Sitta on. Then it was All Along the Watchtower followed by Your Ex-Lover is Dead. Now I'm working my way through the metric fuckton of Nine Inch Nails I have on here.

My iTunes library looks like six different people compiled it. And now I want to listen to Girls on Film again because it's my favorite Duran Duran song in the history of forever.

Yeah, I listen to a lot of stuff from way back when - a lot of Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Garbage, some Sinatra and Miles Davis when I'm feeling classy, the works. The only modern stuff I listen to is Lady GaGa and SCUM, bizarrely enough. And I get that; NIN's an acquired taste and I'm actually more fond of the instrumentals than a good chunk of the worded songs.

Oh man, the Pumpkins are still my favorite band - and I can never get tired of Heart-Shaped Box or Lithium, gotta say. Korn's another big one for me, along with Queen. Like I said, the range of stuff I listen to is stupidly huge.

Leaving Hope and Pilgrimage are my two favorite NIN instrumentals - and I haven't heard that cover before; I'll have to check it out.
