[This is one very unimpressed Green Lantern. Who read the brochure and is pretty much ready to rate this entire experience 1 star.

He's exploring the city first, getting the lay of the land. He's airborne, sticking mostly to the rooftop areas - that's where people he knows usually hang around, but he may drop down to the ground if he sees something to eat.

He also happens to be covered in blood. It's not his, don't worry.]

[ Wally spots the slightly glowing green lightbulb in the sky and immediately changes into his costume. He thinks maybe it's John, maybe it's actually somebody he knows from home! He dashes up a building of an appropriate height and waves. ]

[ He doesn't realize it's not John until the words are already out of his mouth. He tries very hard not to look disappointed. ]

[somewhere in one of the seedier, badly lit parts of the City there's a clatter of feet across broken concrete and the soft hiss of spray paint in an alleyway. if you're quiet (or fast) enough to tread down it before the perpetrator runs away, you'll find an emaciated and wild-eyed man putting the finishing touches on a mural far too emotional and detailed to fall comfortably into the category of usual street art.

he's mumbling to himself as he works, movements jerky and frantic. whatever this guy's deal is, it's obvious he's not right in the head in some way.]

[Anyway, yes, Eiji is running full-tilt down the street, chasing after a brightly-patterned scrap of cloth that's been caught by the wind. Is it a scarf? A kerchief? No, it's a pair of boxers. Freshly laundered, if you want to know.]

[ Now that he mentions it... the owner of the voice takes a step back, revealing that he's wearing rather tattered clothes and looking quite weary. Perhaps he's just come out of a tough fight? By this point, though, it's clear that there's something much more unusual about his appearance: his entire face is obscured in smoke, except for two bright golden orbs staring back at the screen. A girl dressed in revealing red clothes... ah, well, that describes at least one person I know, but I don't think it's who you mean, since she's been around here for a while already.

But, then, the 'Porter doesn't exactly play by anyone else's rules, so it's hard to say for sure. She does a lot of things that shouldn't normally be possible.
