GDS I NEED YOUR HELP

I usually prep for Halloween much sooner than this, but whatev. I know a good few of y'all are cosplayers and I wanted some advice for how to replicate the rebreather filters on Jon's mask seen below

I've got the mask itself already, it's just a matter of a minor alteration here and there and HOW DO I MAKE THOSE THINGS JESUS

They actually look to be the size of tuna cans, maybe you can pound some of those out, maybe use the bottom of soda cans to do the insert pieces? Or smaller tins?

Pro-tip? Hot glue around the edge takes care of the sharp edges. As does clear tape and puttty if your sculpting the details.

OH- OH! reading a few threads down - you might be able to skip the army-surplus and go to the hardware store. I have no idea how much they cost, but some commercially available breathing masks (for drywalling and working with chemicals) have similar breathing... things.
