WELL I AM RACKING MY BRAINS honestly, honestly trying to think about what is worse than this massive blatantly pandering move towards "diversity" by
-kicking the green guy off the JL and adding a black guy in while the rest are 99% white males
-dumping the wheelchair chick out of her wheelchair and in turn knocking the Asian batgirl even further from any hope of being important at all
-turning one of their only overweight short ladies into generic comic female #10000
-making poor Harley into that ...thing that defies even my colorful descriptors
I mean breaking up Peter's marriage was a dick move and Fear Itself has been criminally boring, but like.
/scratches neck
It could be that the things I personally enjoy in Marvel (Tbolts and Avengers Academy!) are sans problems that the Marvel U as a whole has, but the things I value in DC (Batman pre Inc, Flash and his rogues, etc) have been firebombed specifically by this change.

This is very possibly true. I haven't caught up on TBolts yet but Avengers Academy is noticeably better written than ... almost all the other Marvel titles I'm keeping an eye on.
I didn't make it, but it's one of my favorite icons! Here's (http://www.comicvine.com/marvel-adventures-spider-man-two-for-one/37-152571/) the original cover.
