I think I'm almost more offended by this than by them turning Oracle back into Copying-Off-A-Guy-Hero-Because-I-Can't-Be-My-Own-Person-and-Also-Cripples-Are-Losers-Girl. Certainly it's well up there on the list of "WTF, DC?"

This reminds me of when they prettied up Marrow -- step by stepp they stripped her of her ugliness till she was pretty and boring, and promptly vanished from the comics shortly there after.
Apparently a female character allowed to be both prominent and ugly. She can be ugly if it's funny and she's only recurring, but not like Waller, apparently.

Waller's not even ugly. She's overweight, but that's not the same thing as ugly. Now, by comics standards, she's ugly, but so is any woman who is not 5'6", blonde, Liefeld-thin, with ginormous tits, and always shows her ass to the reader in every shot possible.
She is no longer intimidating at all.
