TRAILERS.

I can never get enough of them, honest to goodness. When I go to the movie theater, I am always like twenty minutes early because what if I miss a trailer. But this is not my personal ramble space - it is a shared ramble space. And so I ask:

Can you share trailers from your canons?

If your canon is of the print variety (gosh, how crazy), print ads are also nifty and fine. I want to see the finest advertisements for the finest canons and the finest characters right now.

she was meant to be teenage, actually. i personally don't see an out-of-coninuity supernatural mystery/romance webcomic starring zatanna for young adults to be that heinous. especially with that art (hnnng)

like i don't think he was ever going to get her vampire-pregnant or anything....

(No, you shut up!! Also, DC really should start hiring people that would be more fit for DCAU style artwork for main titles. Seriously, I would love to see people like Mike Norton doing regular titles :c)

i don't think he meant it literally. i'm not sure men of cameron stewart's age knew what twilight was at the time beyond fantasy romance for teenage girls. i didn't and he's got like ten years added fuddyduddery on me :(

(MAKE ME. but that would mean acknowledging that some art styles would be more appropriate for some books than the homogeneous mess of double-page-spread after double-page spread of "awesome" faux-photorealistic art that the dudebros buy. and if the dudebros don't buy it who will??????)

I'm going to hope for that. ;; Since the only reason I had any idea was my sister was obsessed with it...

(People who dropped comics or barely buy comics and frown rn??? But at least it seems that the industry is changing in that aspect... sort of... I mean, Cliff Chiang's become really successful over the past few years!! Even though he's... really the only one I can think of that is that successful with a non-realistic style... whoops...)

i may be giving him too much credit considering he contributed to the suicide girls comic but yeah... he's adorable and i love him :(

(there are plenty who are successful! it's just most of them just don't do regular work for dc and marvel for various perfectly understandable reasons. :| but my favourite is chris samnee who is doing captain america & bucky rn. darwyn cooke doesn't count because he is everybody's favourite.)

jeffrey combs was in a movie starring them. so i can't like, completely make faces about that sort of thing.

(yeah! just not like, everyone knows their name, i meant! though lately i have been able to talk to people about samnee when a year ago i had no one to... also no, darwyn doesn't. and i guess dave bullock doesn't, either, since like, the only person i know that knows who he is... is you. and doc. ._.)

i have no opinion of the actual shirtless ladies but i read i think the first two issues based on how ridiculous comics alliance made it seem and it was even more ridiculous. it tries so hard to be ~edgy counter-culture~ and fails on almost every level. possibly also like the suicide girls themselves??? one of the girls (in the comic, i'm assuming not in real life) has straps pierced into her back for holding her katanas. that's how edgy (and necessarily shirtless) she is.

(well i guess we should just be happy to live in our little echo chamber where all these names mean something. ^_^)

i'm not too familiar with them beyond a few friends who have used some of them as pbs. and... oh

all i know is warren ellis really likes them.

she gives a (boobless) demonstration of exactly how hardcore she is here. so hardcore and oh god i forgot she tattoos herself with the names of the corporate stooges she's killed......... this is like the least ridiculous thing that happens too.

i knew that, too. i know he's friends with molly crabapple, as well. but i really, really love her (and her art).

kind of sad since i like the art. and the colors are pretty decent, too. :(
