You can also talk about mother/lusus/creator/whatever if your character doesn't have a father, but ANYWAY

Sue's parents are never mentioned in the movies. They don't even show up at her wedding. That fits in with my borrowing parts of the 616 backstory to flesh things out. Basically Johnny and Sue's dad was a brilliant surgeon and a terrible alcoholic. He ended up killing their mother while performing drunken surgery on her following a car accident, which he caused due to being drunk. His ass got sent to prison and custody of the kids went to the grandmother (aunt in 616, grandma in the movie, since she's the only relative they ever mention.)

Sue has no relationship with him anymore. He's pretty much considered dead to her.
