THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES
Three years from now, whatever all the imPorts were called in for has been solved. The porter, in either a cruel motion or out of kindness, gives the imports a 72 hours before sending them back. It's not much time, or maybe too much, depending on the character. How are you going to spend the last time you have in the City? Maybe say goodbye to all of your friends, or finally get what you want out of it all? Will you conclude your relationship, or will things be left unsaid before you're ported out?
» post with your character(s)!
» optional: write a blurb on who your character has become, their feelings on the situation, etc.
» backtag forever. no, seriously. backtag forever.
» gross sobbing will ensue
» adapted from soul_skirmish. (thanks, bros!) and Lucy (thanks baby!)

He's going home, and he's thrilled. And he may need to apologize for kicking asses and making enemies of some of the more boy-scouty heroes.

Hey.

Uh. Hi.
[awkward neck scratching]
Oh - you're welcome to come aboard. Come up, see her one last time...
no subject
Yeah, I came to see your ship. How did you guess?
[She took his invitation and walked aboard, giving him a slight smirk]
'Bet you're pretty happy.

[She leans against one of the masts, turning towards him]
Do you think we'll remember anything? I mean, it's pretty amazing we're being sent back at all. The Porter's track record tells me some part of this needs to be painful or inconvenient in some way.

[She shrugs, glancing off the boat. It's better this way.]

I wish I could make promises, and say I'll miss you, but if we forget...then it's no promise at all. It sucks. A lot.
no subject
Yeah, if you say you'll miss me that's just one quick way to piss me off. Promises would be stupid now.
[And yet there's a reason she bothered to visit Sanji. She must like the torture. She was trying to make this seem worth it, and if anything else with a man she'd been through a lot with.]
Here I am dragging down your good mood.
[She gave him a small push]
So what are you going to do until you're brought back home to your nakama?
no subject
Eh, I have to do something with the ship. And, I don't know, maybe I'll throw a huge barbecue for everybody. One last party-hurrah.
no subject
Yeah, everyone's leaving and you want to feed them. 'Sounds just like you.
[She reaches up to brush the lapel of his jacket. Things she could say, but wont, she decides to say another way.]
As annoying as it can be, I'm sure people will be grateful.

Come on, don't tell me you don't want one more big, luxurious meal from your favorite chef. Parties are how we pirates say goodbye to all the folks we've met, before we set sail on the next journey.
no subject
[She teases him.]
But the pirate way sounds like it'd go over better than the demon way... which is starting the Apocalypse and enslaving the human race. You see... I'd try it, except it'd hardly be worth it for only three days.
no subject
You'd definitely make sure you went out with a bang, though.

[She smiles. She remembered how it was back home... She never had someone that got her like Sanji did. There were the obvious draw backs, sure. But she hated this feeling. Leaving and never seeing him again. At least when they broke up he was still around. Then again, the suckage of it all would only last a little while before she was blissfully unaware that there were any feelings in the first place. It was then she decided to be a little irrational.]
This is bullcrap, you know that, right?

[Clearly, her solution to this problem is to pick a fight]

[hey don't hate the playa, hate the porter]
no subject
Yeah, I know. It's just- Why don't you just-
God you're impossible.
[He can't just make this easier for her by making her want to forget him, can he? There's no problem losing memories if they're worth losing.]
no subject
Maybe so. I always told you I was a devil.
[enough of this. He crushes out his cigarette on the sole of his shoe, strides right up to her, grabs her, and kisses her hard. Like he used to]
no subject
She tried to pull away to say something, but her body refused by pulling in closer and diving in to another kiss. Words were... overrated anyway.]
