THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES
Three years from now, whatever all the imPorts were called in for has been solved. The porter, in either a cruel motion or out of kindness, gives the imports a 72 hours before sending them back. It's not much time, or maybe too much, depending on the character. How are you going to spend the last time you have in the City? Maybe say goodbye to all of your friends, or finally get what you want out of it all? Will you conclude your relationship, or will things be left unsaid before you're ported out?
» post with your character(s)!
» optional: write a blurb on who your character has become, their feelings on the situation, etc.
» backtag forever. no, seriously. backtag forever.
» gross sobbing will ensue
» adapted from soul_skirmish. (thanks, bros!) and Lucy (thanks baby!)

He doesn't look up from his microscope but holds out his hand.]
I assume you have the file.

There's a boyfriend of some kind we think might be involved. We're looking into where he was last seen.

It's not the boyfriend. [Grumpily. The most helpful.
And perfectly well aware that Lestrade is here for another reason entirely. God knows he isn't the first.]
You wouldn't bother me with this usually.

[He shrugs, sticking his hands in his pockets. Is there really a need to say anything after all?] If you get really stuck for things to do, there's a couple of cold cases which could do with a look over. Unfortunately for you I think the general population are going to way until after we're gone to start murdering each other in creative ways.

Of course they would. Why be interesting when they need to be? Fine, give me whatever cold cases you have.
Might as well get something done.
[While he can.]

I'll see about getting the case files for those brought round then.
[He nods and makes as if to leave, but turns back instead.] One more thing-

[He'd already turned back to his work, and refused to look up again.]
