YUMA is kind of blind to the whole romance and attractiveness thing. It just doesn't register to him. ... Let me put it this way. The fact that Astral is completely naked all the time hadn't registered to Yuma on a higher plane than "Astral dresses weird" until he was stuck in a human body in cnc for a month. but he is drawn to people, and he can... get a little obsessed... but the trend seems to be towards people who are lonely or hurt or otherwise not the person they're capable of being -- which is probably because it secretly reminds him of himself, whoops.

TLDR SHONEN PROTAG.

RUKA actually does look and is a little more aware of the trains she looks for, but this does not mean she makes good decisions. AS YOU WELL KNOW, KIRSTEN. She prefers the look of physically fit guys, but her secret weakness is for prettyboys with nice hair and nice eyes. (In C&C, this somehow wound up being an almost unbroken string of crushes on blonds.) Basically, guys that could be anime characters.

She'll say she looks for guys who are caring and attentive and good listeners, and who have brains inside those skulls of theirs, but that's the line everyone tends to give. Canon dictates her taste tends to be in guys that are hilariously bad for her. so.

TLDR SHE IS STILL DATING ERIDAN AND DOESN'T HATE HERSELF FOR IT.

physically, it's a grab bag. middle-aged. she has dated and/or slept with multiple brunettes with wayfarers and rough-looking blondes, so those seem to be a thing!

personality-wise, she likes confident guys. or, at least guys who are very certain of who they are and what they believe in. she also has a thing for rough on the outside, soft on the inside types.

she also likes guys that are incompatible in some way because she frequently sabotages any potential happiness she may have.

she's pretty aware of the types that she is most drawn to and how magic works in regard to relationships and them ending poorly.

As much as two people like ourselves are capable of that emotion." THIS PRETTY MUCH TELLS YOU WHAT HE WANTS IN A WOMAN. She needs to be crafty, smart, and just as ruthless as he is. He doesn't care about looks, as you can tell by him marrying Fox, a woman with a hugeass blue tattoo on her face.
(and, despite all his bluster about 'I don't love Fox, I'm above love, you found my weakness Goliath it's love', he really does love and care for Fox in canon. He just doesn't want to admit that he cares about people. :< )

KLARION thinks girls have cooties. Like, he super wigged out when he got kissed, so he's not gonna be finding anybody attractive any time soon.

CONNORS is from the one alternate reality in a billion where he isn't married with children. Anyway, from what we know about Martha Connors, she's compassionate, a good wife and mother and, depending on the adaptation, is just as good as he is in science. With all of Connors' issues about his arm though, he probably isn't looking for anybody to date at the moment and dating is at the back of his mind. If asked, he'll probably just respond something along the lines of 'well she should be smart and caring, please pass that test tube'

Kenzi's a sucker for musicians and artists. She tends to pick guys that are just losers and not really all that good for her. Physically she's attracted to guys that are in shape and taller (not that's hard to be) than her. Otherwise...I don't really know. I guess if a guy interests her in some way she's going to flirt and maybe attempt more.

Jade uh...well... I don't know. I guess "cool" guys are her thing. Like Dave and Davesprite. Otherwise...

Confidence. Smelling nice. A pleasant sounding voice. When it comes to the ladies, he has two types: the ones who can kick his ass and assert themselves and the ones who are domestic, maternal, and will fawn over him. I started to write a tl;dr about it years ago (and here it is if anyone cares.) He also has this weird way of having amazingly attractive girlfriends (I maintain it's because hot chicks are on some level unintimidated by a blind dude.)

Pietro likes ladies who in some way resemble his sister. This is canon and he's admitted to it at least once. It has less to do with lolololtwincest (although honestly, it could also be read that way) and more to do with Wanda being his only female role model for a very long time. His definitions of femininity and mothering/nurturing are solidly based on her, so that's what he looks for in a female life partner.

In a guy... He's a lot more non-specific. His best male friends have generally been tall, blond, and built a little bigger than him. I think it's safe to say that that's the type he'd find physically attractive, but personality-wise it's all over the place. He likes people who remain interesting, whether it's through their values and convictions, or just being straight up crazy. As long he can't get bored, it's all good.

Jay likes people who are nice and call him back within a reasonable amount of time and don't tackle him or stalk him or break into his house to watch him sleep or steal his stuff or point guns at him while yelling about how everything is his fault.

NO okay there's probably more to it than that. Since, he really does genuinely love all women in theory. In practice, though? He clearly tends toward attractive women - shapely, pretty faces, boobs. He doesn't have a personality type, or so he says, nor a preference for a certain hair color, or age, or anything. If she's between the ages of 17 and say, 45, with a nice figure and pretty face, he's so there. But given his one-track-mind centered on Nami, and the way he overlooks every single one of her flaws to sycophantically tag at her heels, I would imagine that deep down he has an attraction to strong personalities - assertive women who walk all over him and accept his doting (grudgingly or willingly). He also has a not-so-secret affectation toward princesses and fainting damsels. But that's more of a surface infatuation, so he can swoop in and be the hero/prince and wow her with his charms, he'd probably never actually settle down with someone like that long-term. If he settles at all, it's going to be with someone headstrong, independent, and smoking-hot.

Alastair I think I said last time likes his guys pretty normal? He doesn't really have a type except that he doesn't like stereotypes. He only ever really fell in love with Kiryu, and miiiiight have entertained a crush on Kaiba secretly, in which case his deeper feelings are focused on guys who are a lot like him. Headstrong, a little bit of a dark side, must have a strong sense of family. Superficially, though, he can be attracted to good-looking men with a strong but not overly-muscular build, no facial hair, and nice hands. He likes hands.

Kotetsu is really not looking for a partner anymore, he's still carrying a torch for his wife. But I can see him being attracted to someone who needs him - someone who maybe is missing a strong influence in their life. Must love kids. You never really get a good sense for what kind of personality Tomoe had, but radio dramas suggest she was the one who gave Kotetsu the Wild Tiger name. She was supportive and doting but not a wallflower - she might have had a little spunk. Given their daughter? Maybe more than just a little. Kotetsu needs someone to need him but he also needs someone who doesn't always need him, who can trust him to go out there and be a hero and take care of himself just fine. For the most part, though, he's not looking, and a lot of less overt romantic intentions in his direction go right over his head.

Geddoe is so disinterested you don't even know. The only thing he knows is that he doesn't like the clingy types. He has more respect for headstrong women but he also tends not to view them as romantic interests. But he's been around the block and tried almost everything in the last 100 years, so he's done even caring.

She just has to be Fonrar. He literally has zero attraction towards other races or even other female draconians.

And... to describe Fonrar: she's very strong-willed, independent, and doesn't put up with shit. This is a woman who decided that if the males wouldn't teach her and the other females how to use weapons, they'd just learn on their own in secret! Fuck that. She hates being coddled or told something is for her own good, and she is more than capable of kicking ass or killing if it's required. She's also an extremely good leader and tactician, just like him.

KATE likes bold, intelligent women with a fun side to them. Also considering Sophie, Anna, Renee, and Maggie's professions... might be partial to women with leadership qualities and/or working in law enforcement of some kind. In comics everybody is attractive, but it's notable that none of the women listed were ever the "glamorous" type. The women she's slept with with no strings attached yeah... but not women she was actually in a committed relationship with. I guess looks are important, but not the most. She also likes to be pampered...

GIL prefers quiet and polite people? He said something along the lines of "as long as she's kind, then it doesn't matter" once when Oz asked him what kinda women he was into.

Callie is your classic 20-something woman-- she doesn't know what the hell she wants. She's attracted to violence, evil, and soulless bastards but they are also the bane of her existence. She says she got together with Mark in canon at first to piss off her dad, then to sexually humiliate him, then because he had premium cable, and then she just got used to him. She's attracted to him sexually- he's either really good in bed, well endowed, or both. I think deep down, she loves that he's not an asshole- and the fact he's such a boy scout just makes her want to sully him. When she pushes him to jealousy and other more angry/violent tendencies, there's nothing hotter. She can screw with his head, mess with him, and manipulate him without really ever feeling guilty. More than anything I think while she's an independent woman she likes a man that takes care of her, that really cares about her, and will do anything to make things work and to make her happy.

Piccolo is purely asexual and does not find anything physically attractive in anyone. Still, he recognizes beauty, though it doesn't play a factor in why he would spend time with a person or not. He does appreciate someone that can hold their own and has strength to defend themselves and win a fight if they have to. Intelligence, common sense, and skill. Unusual and effective techniques are also a plus- it reminds him that he doesn't know everything and it urges him to learn more and to become a better fighter himself.

CLINT。 is attracted to lady spies who are capable of kicking his butt. Or, more specifically, he likes ladies who are a little bit dangerous, can best him in some way or another, and have nice hair. He likes having a balance of challenging and supporting characteristics in his partners.

MONICA。 has only had one on-screen romance, and that was with a man who literally saved her life and swept her off her feet. She is incredibly suspicious, as a rule, and is generally attracted to power and people who share her almost contradictory disdain for the world coupled with a desire to save it.

DAMIAN。 is ~~ten~~ twelve.

Santo: BLONDES WITH NICE ASSES! Okay no Santo is also attracted to confident, snarky people who get his sense of humor and general jerkitude. He's also attracted to people with problems who he thinks he can help (JUBILEE).

Shinji: He thinks he wants to be with someone who is the exact opposite of himself in every way possible, but in reality he ends up developing feelings for people who are just as fucked up as him, only in different ways.

BLUE LADIES WONK WONK WONK

Bender likes floozies, but he appreciates the bigger women (in robots anyway). His only real deal outside of robots is Asian females (he made out with Lucy Liu's head once) (she was still alive long story). Also, rich women with bad taste.

Daria just likes honest people, who usually have an aura of cool around them and are not put off by her personality. She wants someone grounded in ethics who isn't egotistical. Looks aren't too important, but she seems to gravitate towards tall, dark, and handsome boys.

Ladd... is complicated. Basically, he really likes murder and killing people because he wills it. His long term relationship is a mutual homicide pact, so that gives you a hint to how much of a creeper he is, but he just likes the idea that he will be the one to kill you. It's sort of romantic........ Sort of. Everything else doesn't matter at all, so long as you don't infuriate him TOO MUCH, since I don't exactly see Ladd being the picky sort and his sexual attraction never specifies a gender, as far as I recall.

rikku likes guys who can make her laugh and who aren't afraid to put up with her being stubborn. personality is really important--i won't say looks don't matter because hey she can be a little shallow, but clearly santo is the exception (even if she thinks he's attractive). she prefers blondes.

scathach likes strength. physically, mentally--it doesn't matter. they don't even have to be able to fight, they just have to be strong in some way. while she isn't discriminatory of gender when it comes to students (and the friendship of her thighs), the only person she's ever canonically had a relationship with was a man. she prefers blondes. she dated alex summers way back when, but has not had a relationship since.

gemma wants someone who can simultaneously challenge her and protect her. she wants someone who needs her. but he also has to respect her. she is a jumble of contradictions. physical attractiveness is a plus. she is sort of actively looking, but with no real effort.

molly wants ~~sherlock~~ a man who can take care of her and make her laugh. he has to be able to take care of her. but nothing else really matters--she isn't incredibly picky. she is taking a break from the dating game however because her exes are all psychos.

nill might not admit it, but she wants someone who can protect her. her partner needs to just be there for her: physically at the very least, though emotional support would be excellent (even if she would try not to share her problems). trust is incredibly important. she doesn't have any preference for physical appearance. she has kind of recently decided that she is into romance and is kind of looking for a boyfriend.

Bradbury got married straight out of high school in canon; however, that relationship didn't end well, since the first time we see his not-yet-ex-wife he's trying to peel her out of the strip club she's been working. She's actually relatively attractive, physically speaking, though that's more than compensated for by her attitude. He was dumped pretty badly, though, and the fact that he's still wearing his wedding ring suggests that it's something he hasn't quite let go of - not because he still has romantic feelings about her, necessarily, but perhaps to remind himself that getting involved with anyone is a bad idea.

Having said that, Bradbury's not above a little aesthetic appreciation. He seems to favor blondes (way to be predictable) and by all accounts is a fine connoisseur of T&A.

Personality-wise, he's driven to be a protector for whoever he's attracted to. He's more of a follower than a leader, so he's attracted to people with a purpose or strong personalities. He likes the feeling of being needed/wanted in general, so being able to be that kind of support for someone is pretty much what he wants to get out of his relationships. Unfortunately, he has a poor sense of when his help isn't actually necessary.

TL;DR: Bradbury's pretty much the paragon of a TOTALLY HETEROSEXUAL MAN!!! However, given that he later [SPOILER]falls in love with Mitch in canon[/SPOILER], there's some argument to be made that he himself has little idea of who or what he really wants, and that the only consistency he has is falling for people who'll break his heart.
