[ she's not straight-forwardly hostile, but she isn't friendly either. ]

[ she gestures to the jar. ]

(he gently puts the dollar in, fingers lingering on the top of her hand before moving back.)

[ she glances down when his hand touches hers, her attention lingering there a moment after he draws away. pausing a second, she finally gestures him towards her, holding up the dice pointedly for him to see before rolling them. ]

(he doesn't need to be forced to kiss her; with a quick glance, he looks around before leaning in and cupping her cheek. he has to restrain himself from savoring the feel of her face against his gloved hand, but he pulls back to take the glove off and actually feel skin against his hands for once.)

Sorry about this. (he leans in close, kissing her tenderly at first and thinking that would be enough for him.)

[ it shouldn't be familiar, but it is, and she remembers it well -- what it feels like to kiss him. she lets the kiss be tender for a few moments before finally, she's reaching to draw him closer with her hands, tilting her head to kiss him deeper. ]

(it's his absolute undoing, he can't stop himself. soon, he's cupping her face and kissing her deeper, harder, as if he hasn't kissed someone in such a long time. the next thing he knows, he's practically climbing onto the other side to kiss her.)

[ the way he kisses her steals the air out of her lungs. she doesn't really think about it, just holds onto tight fistfuls of his clothes like a part of her still thinks he'll run away. she makes a light noise against his mouth, breathless. ]

(he has to push away, if they keep at this, his hands would be on her body and they'd be on the ground. he pulls back, smug for a moment-then nervous.)
