you can kiss me with the windows open while the rain comes pouring inside

the KISSING BOOTH meme
♡ MAKE A POST WHERE FOR SOME ARBITRARY REASON YOUR CHARACTER NOW FINDS THEMSELVES RUNNING A KISSING BOOTH.
☆ OTHER CHARACTERS SHOW UP TO MOCK/BUY KISSES FROM/COMMISERATE WITH YOURS

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE...
EVERY TIME A CHARACTER ASKS/PAYS YOURS FOR A KISS, YOUR CHARACTER HAS TO IC'LY ROLL NOT ONE, BUT *TWO* DICE TO DETERMINE WHAT KIND OF KISS IT WILL BE kind of like sex dice whoops
☆ Did we mention they're magic dice? They're magic dice. One way or another, your character will be compelled to do as the dice command... possibly to the horror of their customers.

DIE NUMBAH ONE: TYPE OF KISS
1. Clean
2. Sweet
3. Romantic
4. Dirty
5. Rough
6. Passionate

DIE NUMBAH TWO: BODY PART TO RECEIVE KISSING
1. Hand
2. Neck
3. Ear
4. Cheek
5. Lips
6. Buyer's Choice

Underaged characters can reroll until they get a combination that isn't horribad or can be immune to the whims of crazy kissing dice I guess???

[When she says that, again, he's compelled to take out the dice, even if he'd normally give far more resistance. Instead of tossing them himself, however, he slides them beneath Irene's fingers atop the dollar.

Is it giving her control or not wanting to be responsible for the outcome? He'll never tell.]

[ Just the same, Irene anticipated the resistance, watching him with a commanding gaze. But he never could resist the challenge to impress or surprise her. So, his answer manages to do just that, whether or not the power was intended to be handed to her. She doesn't see this not working out in her favor either way.

She closes her fingers around the dice, pulling them away from his hold. Rolling them across the table, the numbers read out 1, then 5. Clean is rather boring (and on the lips, how very traditional), but it will do less damage to Sherlock's pride, perhaps. ]

[It doesn't feel like less when he looks at the dice rather ruefully. And it's not even the end of the world, is it? Sherlock sighs as he feels the compulsion to move forward again, but he's much less hesitant than he'd admit.

He leans down and softly presses his lips against Irene's, eyes only half closed and one hand on hers again.]

[ End of the world is always debatable. Perhaps, it was though -- for their world, at least.

Instead of pushing things forward, Irene remains still, waiting and watching as his mouth descends on hers. It isn't until he touches her hand that she turns hers to grasp his and presses back just a bit firmer against his lips. Only for as long as the kiss lasts. She wouldn't mind rolling the die once more. ]

[It goes on for about five seconds longer than Sherlock intended, but somewhere along the line he seemed to forget that he was counting to three in his head. His head has tilted a bit by the time he pulls away, brows furrowed from when Irene made it a little rougher than "clean" tended to describe.

Still, he doesn't say anything as he hovers near her face. As usual, he only sighs.]

[ Satisfied with the results, knowing he could have pulled away much sooner but chose not to (or simply forgot, which is just as satisfying), she softly clicks her tongue. Her gazes flickers from his lips to his eyes. ]

Don't be so discouraged, dear. We could give it another go, if you like.

[ Teasing, of course. But also entirely serious. ]

[Sherlock only makes a small grunt at that, and finally steps away from her. His eyes pointedly avoid her face, and he's suddenly fascinated with the gradient of the counter.]

I wouldn't want you to waste any more of what little money we get here.
