[Q knows a lot more about engineering than he does about ladies, but he's fairly certain that cardinal rule of interacting with them is that their feelings, rational or not, exist, and it's best to not try too hard to understand why. Though of course Danger herself is unique and fascinating, the "why" is interesting, of course, but he doesn't think that invalidates their existence. It's a crazy multiverse. Bees fly and spaceships do too.]

I don't think that's the sort of think a person should be thanked for, but you're welcome.

You would be surprised how difficult it is to achieve recognition as a person when you are artificial.
Organics do not normally understand.

Humans have a long history of denying the personhood of other people. [It's not so hard to believe, really. In the past people have fought to the death to surpress others, be it on the basis of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, health, natural aptitudes -- you name it. If a person was different? They weren't a real person.] It's something we never seem to collectively outgrow.

I find it a shame that humans can be so narrow-minded.
You have many other redeeming qualities.
Truthfully, I am somewhat fond of individual members of your species.
And occasionally, I am envious.
