Actually coincidentally timed considering my last post, I just got a notif in my email about Spectacular Spider-man and it's current status.

'Hailed by fans and critics as not only the best Spider-Man cartoon to date, but also one of the best interpretations of the character in any medium, The Spectacular Spider-Man has found itself in a bit of a strange situation production-wise. Shortly before Disney purchased Marvel Comics, Sony Pictures (who produced SSM) returned the television rights for Spider-Man back to Marvel. Because of this, Sony is out of the picture, and it is now entirely up to Marvel/Disney to decide whether or not the series should be renewed for a third season.'
