I share with you all just about the weirdest ad I've seen in the Iron Man 2 Advertising hype. An Iron King is terrifying and horrid. Dr. Pepper is hilarious if you've read the old Avengers issues where he attempts sobriety the first time. (and if I could have found the scans I would have shared those instead.)

 A lot of times, we're drawn to characters that we like because we can empathize with them, or share characteristics with them. I'm curious, CnC, do you share any characteristics with the characters you play? 

In my case, I at times share the obnoxious personality Pokey has, but I more or less share the fear of others/absurdly strong desire to try and connect with others that the kid has that tends to hamper him.

How about you guys?

Although I still definitely do want to apply for Athena, the sad truth is that I suck way too much to do it right now. Also, when the summer frees up my schedule, I kind of want to reapp someone! There's this thing about Tim's tattoo. It's really two tattoos, one of a scorpion, and one of a moth. The scorpion stings him when he does magic, and the moth prevents him from getting close to people (Tim doesn't know this, obviously. Well, he's worked out the stinging part on account of being, you know, stung several times).

My question is that SHOULD TIM KEEP THE MOTH? Because I can't decide whether the moth will hinder CR or provide an interesting twist to CR. In the comics this moth caused his girlfriend to dump him because he didn't notice that she no longer touched the ground when she walked. So... it doesn't exactly prevent him from INTERACTING with people, it just will prevent actual meaningful connections. But I could always get rid of it later, too? I don't know. What do you think.

Beast Wars marathon tonight!

Starts at 7pm EST (two and a half hours from now) and runs 'til midnight!

Procaster doesn't seem to want to get along with me (desktop broadcasts, but without sound), so I'm uploading episodes to the channel instead. My boyfriend is uploading the second half of the season onto a channel of his own as back-up. As a result, we may have to switch channels part way through, but no technical difficulties shall stop this marathon!

I saw several people on one of the memes state that they'd like a date for prom for their characters but don't have one.

Here is a place you can list if you want a date or not and coordinate with other people about getting your characters together.

If there's interest in it, there can also be an in-game sign up of randomness where your character is randomly paired with another as a date. It can either be truly random or you can request "Hey, please randomly pair Deadpool with Lady Lovely Locks."
