Birds of Prey PAR-TAY

This is for ANYONE who's got a character in the Birds of Prey:

After chatting with Oracle-mun and Felicia-mun not long ago, we thought a BoP party would be cool, and Jillian's given me the go-ahead: All the Birds will be invited to a Holiday party. It's been awhile since the Birds had a meet'n'greet and there are some new members on board, so beyond the seasonal thing it will be a good chance for team members to meet and do anything from chat to form partnerships to go on missions with, etc.

I will be posting the log. Maggie not having her sisters to spend Christmas Eve with will be causing her to overcompensate and make enough cake and snacks to feed the entire City. Yes she does actually have a skill/hobby that isn't reading.

SO:
Who is around/up for this?

Do you have any preferences for when the log goes up? (I was thinking early next week--with encouragement to post whenever you can--I know it's a busy time of year so people should feel free to tag when they can and not feel like, "OMG, if I can't post between 10-11 PM on Tuesday, I just can't post at all!" Should be a very fun, low pressure sort of thing.)

WHERE SHOULD THIS BE? If there are no preferences, I'm going to assume it's the same generic training zone location previous meet'n'greets have happened.

I hope GDS is okay for this message; this did not quite seem "plot relevant" enough for OOC. (I always fret way too much over where to post stuff like this.)

Okay, so seeing everyone discussing plots and holiday-related shizz...I think it would be nice if we made an official holiday-plotting/CR gathering...thing-a-ma-jig. So, GDS, I present to you...

...so calling it official is a bit cocky on my part, I apologize, but seriously people might want to do things for the holidays and are too shy to ask people if they want to have get togethers for their characters that take place before, during, or after Christmas (remember, Chanukah's passed, there's still New Years...and Kwanzaa though I have yet to meet anyone who celebrates that) I mean, now that we all got to know each other thanks to the Friending meme...we can all swallow our shyness to discuss!

So please please PLEASE utilize this post to:
→ Gather thoughts with regards to what you want to do with your characters
→ Gather gift-giving ideas, or what gifts your characters are going to give other characters
→ Handwaving holiday ideas for those of you who have lives during the rest of December but still want characters to have shenanigans to reference
→ Plotting out holiday ideas for those of you who have no idea what you want to do with your character
→ Try for some CR you've been seeking out this holiday season
→ Do...anything holiday related this post is an open book. There's no format, no neat little html...just...GO CRAZY WITH HOLIDAY PLOT PLANNING or use this to organize holiday plots that are already going considering I know there are a few things going on already~

And if all else fails and you can't think of anything, at least use this post to say what characters are going to get other characters for the holidays! Or comment to other people and tell them what you're getting their characters idk man there's no format to this. Lyra!mun posted something like that a few days ago but it was never utilized as much as last years gift-giving thread and I am genuinely curious people. So. Go crazy with holiday/IC gift-giving shit.

Bat-family christmas!

I stuck this in the other christmas thread first and then changed my mind and put it here instead!

So! There is going to be a Christmas Party for Bat-Family members organized by Charlie and Steph and Cass. It will be very familyish and may have a theme and Charlie is hoping to have it on Christmas because that is when families are supposed to get together all christmasy.

Yes there will be cookies. And eggnog if you enjoy horrible, horrible drinks.

The people they are inviting, currently, are: Charlie, Cass, Steph, Tim, Dick, Bruce, Selina, Babs, Carrie, Helena, Jason, Terry. People are welcome to assume they have already been contacted by someone, unless you want there to be an official 'hey hey come to christmas it'll be awesome we will have food and good cheer' post?

Also there will be guilting Batman into showing up. I think Tim is already on that.

I was thinking put up a log a few days before christmas, party-style, and people can just poke at it and threadjack and make random christmas moments come true. Bruce and Dick sitting in the living room watching 'A Christmas Story' for instance. That would be hilarious.

If there are characters loosely affiliated with bat-people, they can probably come too? But it's supposed to be a family sort of thing so not by a lot more. Poke here if so? Or if your character was invited but isn't showing up, ooooor if you have a neat idea, orrrrrr anything else! :D
