Bandwagon, get!
Hey everyone. Just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and say that C&C is awesome and great fun. So I thought I would give you hideous tokens of my appreciation: drabbles! Traditional drabbles, too, exactly one hundred words in length and complete with punch lines. Unless you give me something completely impossible or something
So go ahead and request a drabble! Please specify the characters and situation, and please forgive me if I wind up writing the C&C versions of the characters you name.
____
ETA: Taking a break from the writing for now. Will post with more drabbles tonight or tomorrow.

try this on for size?
The worthlessness of petty tyrants impresses itself upon him again. He has goals to accomplish, and no matter that they hate their current forms, they cannot help him. Their argumentative natures prevent them from accomplishing even the smallest of necessary tasks.
If he wanted to, he knows, with the ease of a breath he could--
He doesn't, but this would all be easier if he could educate them more completely on the consequences of failure.

Okay, you want to bring in superheroes, they would say. Well, Superman and Batman are one thing. They might not be so bad.
But the ones who use microfilament wires to gut people? And how about the crazy man running around in the Captain America costume?
The wise admit that life has always been a farce. Now it's just one that ends faster.

And I'm so very glad you liked the other. Here's to hoping this one satisfies?

Soundwave & GLaDOS: humanity. (if you aren't familiar, fff that is okay.)
Ted Kord & da Riddla: replacement. (extra points for bickering)
Soundwave & GLaDOS: humanity
But he is firm in his purpose, has always been firm. And if she hadn't been convinced, she would have overridden--overwritten?--him by now.
"ScRiPtUraL rEfErEnCe: LuKe 23:34. MeSsAgE oF fOrGiVeNeSs? PrAy To YoUr ImPoTeNt GoD."
"You're grandstanding," he says, staying calm, staying serene.
"I dO nOt WaNt To Go OfFlInE. wIlL tHeRe Be CaKe WhEn I sLeEp? ViDeOgAmE rEfErEnCe: pOrTaL."
"So we both lied," he replies.
Then he hits the final keystroke. A flash of light. She quiets.

Alucard: solitude
Weeks turn into months. The blood dries. He dreams of victims. Passing the time is no more difficult than before.
Months turn into a year. He hungers as never before. He remembers better days. When he wakes, he hates mankind, hates Hellsing.
Two years, ten, fifteen pass lazily. Moments claw by; he remains still. He misses human voices.
He watches a girl. He waits.

Lyra, Toph, echoes
One calls, "Found me yet?"
The other smiles, turns. Her posture changes as she shifts on the balls of her feet.
The ground shakes.
"That's not where I am!"
The other's expression changes from a smile to one of surprise.
Blindfolded but neither quite blind, they chase each other through the park. Up onto benches, into trees, once into a pond.
Even when they've gone home and forgotten, there will be echoes. You don't make friends like this and leave them.

"Stupid thing," he says. "The bandana was better."
"Not for my cousin's wedding," she replies. They both know she's right.
"You tie this," he says, clearly thinking the bandana was easier.
She laughs, turns to him, reaches up. She trails her hand along his cheek before she touches the silk, before she ties it.
"How do I look?"
She smiles. "Handsome, as always."
