I know you weren't expecting to see me again so soon, but frankly, you should just consider yourselves lucky and leave it at that.

I've always had something of an interest in time travel. Never wanted to try it myself - after all, there's so much that can go wrong. But once again, you heros have been given a higher purpose! My attempts to meld two parts of the timestream appear to have been successful!

So there's now not only your normal, 'gamecanon' selves wandering around, but now you've got to deal with these 'ten years later' nutjobs.

One small stipulation: past and future selves can not speak to each other. I talked to the lovely lady who assembled you all, and if two copies get within twenty feet of each other, one of them will be 'ported' off and away. If it happens repeatedly she'll send one of you home.

[TL;DR it's an open RP post that allows characters from

capeandcowl and

cnc2020, just don't talk to yourselves and break the timestream.]

[waspinator rolls his eyes. somebody who can't talk can't say that they can't talk.]

[he settles for pointing to his throat and mouthing the words.]

Don't talk much anymore. Don't usually need to.

[remember when Metabee barely understood what you were trying to tell him, Waspinator? this is the sequel to that, electric boogaloo. He just blinks.]

Can I get that again and slower?

[a sigh. he should have expected this. he's going to have to actually talk here, slaggit. why is metabee always intent on doing things the hard way?]

I don't want... To talk. [he says simply, hoping it'll be enough of an explanation. he shouldn't need to say why.]

[hahahahaaa enough of an explanation for Metabee. you wish, Waspinator. you should know he never lets things alone.]

Why the heck not?

[he sighs. he should've known that wouldn't be the case.]

It'z hard. [he says and crosses his arms, daring Metabee to press him further on the issue.]

... you know when I tell you to shut up I don't really mean it, right? [he snorts, but he is curious as to what's going on.]

And why the dye job?

[oh, Metabee. Waspinator had forgotten just how dense you used to be. well, still are (SOMEBODY still hasn't gotten the autobase infiltration straightened out. yes, reaklly). but you used to be so much worse.]

[he hates to do this, but there doesn't seem to be much choice. he tugs a tiny batter notebook out of his back pocket and scribbles away, then passes it to the young man.]

[Metabee reaches over to take it, eyes flicking across the words.]

No kidding. You even lost the antennae.

So you're from the future! I can dig it. [explains why he's even taller than usual compared to Metabee.] Why do you gotta look human?

[he nods and pulls the book back, scribbling on it again determinedly. he hates doing this - he's always hated having to write, even on the networks - but he doesn't seem to have much choice.]

[he jots something down in response and holds it out again, face carefully kept blank.]

[He takes it back, face slowly turning to a deep frown.]

What, you guys didn't do anything about these new leaders? Why not? We didn't ask to live here.

[boy you are expecting way too much of Waspinator here]

[he looks unimpressed. he doesn't know exaclty what Metabee did, but e didn't hear anything about a meta uprising led by a boy in yellow.]

[why, of course not! you see, he's assuming here that he won't be alone! he'll change his tune once he finds out how his story goes.]
