I AM SO GLAD I TYPED ALL THIS OUT WHEN I WAS SOBER

I know you weren't expecting to see me again so soon, but frankly, you should just consider yourselves lucky and leave it at that.

I've always had something of an interest in time travel. Never wanted to try it myself - after all, there's so much that can go wrong. But once again, you heros have been given a higher purpose! My attempts to meld two parts of the timestream appear to have been successful!

So there's now not only your normal, 'gamecanon' selves wandering around, but now you've got to deal with these 'ten years later' nutjobs.

One small stipulation: past and future selves can not speak to each other. I talked to the lovely lady who assembled you all, and if two copies get within twenty feet of each other, one of them will be 'ported' off and away. If it happens repeatedly she'll send one of you home.

[TL;DR it's an open RP post that allows characters from [livejournal.com profile] capeandcowl and [livejournal.com profile] cnc2020, just don't talk to yourselves and break the timestream.]

[he winces at the hand in his hair, but doesn't jolt away. it's not that he doesn't want too - he might be able to stand contact now, but only from people he knows - but he figures that acqueising is a good start to making sure this guy doesn't pull out his gun again. he doesn't run away, since he's learn that nearly any human with a weapon should be treated like a large and irritable bear. and running just aggravates them.]

[his hands come together in front of his stomach to fidget, and he supresses the urge to crack his knuckles. a glance at the snack and he dashes to get it, snatching it up and returning to the stranger. he holds it out, worry painted across his face.]

You dropped this. [he mouths]

[Running would have aggravated him, but not for the reasons Waspinator suspected; No-Name watches as the other fidgets and then scuttles off to grab up the piece of candy, and decides that it's probably for the best, even if it bothers him--questions would be difficult, and if he stayed around too long, they would likely get asked.]

[Although he can feel a faint tinge of surprise when the ex-bot comes dashing back, he keeps his expression perfectly blank, waiting to see what happens. When he's offered the treat, he puts on a small act and stares at it like he's never seen it before.]

[He gives a small shake of his head for a 'no' and then glances up at Waspinator with what could pass for a mildly confused look.]

[I don't know what you're talking about. Isn't that yours?]

[the reaction he gets is confusing, to say the least. Waspinator had been sure that the human had dropped the candy. he'd seen it with his own eyes, even.]

[so he jabs the bar at the man, nudging him with it and looking worried. he doesn't want to annoy him, but he's not that stupid. people don't carry things around they don't remember getting. except, perhaps, idiots with gaping holes in their memories, but that's another story.]

[waspinator's skittish about communicating with a human, but doesn't want to let this go. besides, were he honest with himself, he'd admit he needed the company. those that keep him locked in the present tense don't appear to be in the area, and he'll take who he can get if that's necessary.]

[Being unexpectedly poked with the candy nearly inspires another automatic reaction, but he manages to keep it in check, forcing himself to stay still for the most part. All that he does instead is gently push away the object with one hand, pressing it back closer to Waspinator.]

Keep it, [he mouths, silently, finally figuring that it would be too difficult to convince his old friend to do so by action alone. It'd be a depressing thought, if he allowed himself to dwell on it for too long--the being he remembered wouldn't have thought to try giving it back, in years long past. Now No-Name couldn't get him to do anything except that.]

[He doesn't smile, but he doesn't look angry; something about his relaxed body language implies that he's okay with the idea--of course it does. It's the truth.]
