spam time

So, yeah. Earlier today, I got to put out a fire at work caused by a customer flicking a lit cigarette into a shopping cart which, incidentally, had some incredibly flammable discarded paper ads lining the bottom of it.

Yes. In the middle of a hardware store. Which is filled with wood, oil, a shit ton of cardboard, and explosive chemicals.

I don't even know. Please don't ask.

Anyway. I have a tiny cough and I smell of burnt paper. I was also at work a full hour and a half later than I should have been and got out at 11:30 when I have to be back at 8.

GDS, I need your help.

Spam me with anything and everything you can think of in regards to fire*.



*Please, nothing actually dying from the flames. It's been a bad enough weekend. Don't make it any worse. Humor preferred.

He is a good artist!! He gave my then-boyfriend (the actual best friend of the son of Lockwood) a really nice art book, and daaaamn his art is pretty fantastic.

... god now I sorta feel like calling that kid back up and re-establishing friendship ties.

BY PROXY I did theater with his son (who does a really nice Groucho Marx).

I technically have his what-I-assume-is-personal email address.

But you picked a cool guy to have as an inspiration! I've only met him once or twice but he's a pretty swell guy.

I have only seen pictures of his son via his blog, for the cover pose he did as a reference for the Pirate King.

He just seems so nice, and he is an amazing painter...his grasp of color is just...nggh....I am so awed. XD

The son: much shorter in real life. I didn't know he did poses, though! That makes total sense. And looking at his blog — yes, these are TOTALLY the emails I get forwarded from them all the time, hahaha
