So apparently there's a new Transformers videogame, as in, not a tie-in game to the movie coming out. Thing is...

It...

actually looks good.

It's supposed to be a Gears of War style FPS game, and take place in its own continuity, though said continuity is largely going to be inspired by G1 (mostly Dreamwave's War Within comic book series). I was skeptical.

Though as for Megatron I'd rather have Corey Burton than Frank Welker; I know this is blasphemy, but god Corey does an amazing voice for him in animated.

I can't say I've heard Animated Megs, but even I have to admit that Welker's voice sounded a bit too worse for wear in the Bayformers game. It made me sad.

Although playing G1 Megs was still a blast in the online gaming portion of it. If you lined up the fusion cannon blast, it's a one shot kill that rules.

I watched it. I'm not sure I'm sold on that Megatron voice, though. Seems... vaguely lackluster, or maybe just a bit monotonous.
